Oma Baatbyggeri has today signed a contract with Norled AS for the delivery of two hybrid battery-electric fastferries. In the near future, a contract with Florø Skyssbåt AS will be signed for the delivery of one further vessel.

Oma Baatbyggeri AS på Stord leverte 9 juli 2019 verftets første elektriske fartøy, bnr. 540. MF Kinsarvik blei levert til Boreal Transport Nord og fartøyet skal settes i drift på strekningen Kinsarvik-Utne fra 1. januar 2020.
