Build number 534 from Oma Baatbyggeri AS was delivered to Boreal Transport A/S on 22 April 2015. The vessel is of the CombiCat 33 type and was given the name M/S “Årøy”.

The catamaran has seating capacity for 70 passengers in the saloon and deck space for 8 – 10 passenger cars, alternatively 4 cars and one standard bus or semi. From 2016, the vessel is scheduled to operate on Route 310, the AltafjordXpressen, serving three connections from Mikkelsby: Rongsundstedene, Kongshus, and Nyvoll/Korsfjord.
